Working with a dedicated team

We agree the team’s responsibilities, the roles needed and how decisions will be made. A named lead coordinates delivery across the team and keeps progress, risks and trade-offs visible.

The team may build a product from the start, take over existing work or own a defined part of a larger system. Its composition and working arrangements are agreed with you and reviewed as priorities change.

Is this the right shape?

Who this engagement serves best, and where a different one serves you better.

Best for

  • You want us to lead delivery while you set priorities and make key decisions
  • The work needs several roles working together
  • Priorities may change as the work progresses
  • You need a team to work alongside yours or take responsibility for a defined part of the work

Not the right fit

  • You need a focused assessment or plan before deciding how to deliver the work: start with Workshops
  • You want to direct the work yourself and need one or more specialists: consider Specialists
  • You can define the scope and acceptance criteria up front and want one agreed price: consider Projects

How we work

  1. Agree the team

We agree what the team will take on, the roles needed and the first priorities.

  2. Start the work

We review what is already in place, arrange access and agree how progress will be shared and reviewed.

  3. Deliver and review

The team works through agreed priorities and reviews completed work with you regularly. Risks are raised early, with their impact and proposed next steps.

  4. Adjust the plan and team

We review the plan and team composition as needs change. Any changes to roles or capacity are agreed with you in advance.

Questions, answered

  • It depends on the roles needed and their availability. We propose the team and its lead, confirm a start date with you and allow for the access and onboarding your organisation requires.

  • Yes. We agree which work we will lead, how it connects with your team’s work and how both teams will review progress. We can also coordinate with other partners involved.

  • The fixed monthly rate covers the agreed team and allocation. Before work begins, we set out the roles, capacity, billing basis and any costs outside that rate.

  • We update the plan with you within the team’s agreed capacity. If the change calls for different roles, more capacity or more time, we explain the effect and agree any change before it takes effect.

  • We plan known absences with you. If availability changes unexpectedly, we explain any effect on delivery, arrange cover or propose a replacement where needed, and coordinate a handover.

  • We agree access and security requirements before starting. Access is limited to approved team members and reviewed when someone joins, changes role or leaves the engagement.

  • You own work produced for the engagement under our agreement. Code, designs and documentation are delivered through the repositories and tools agreed with you.

  • Yes. The team can continue with support, maintenance and further development. We agree the responsibilities, capacity and response arrangements for that stage.

  • You can end it under the notice terms agreed before work begins. We plan the handover of current work, documentation and access with you.
