Planning & estimation
Defining the delivery approach, estimating effort and setting schedules, milestones and dependencies.
Project management for complex software delivery, keeping scope, budget and decisions clear at every stage.
Project management provides the structure for planning, coordinating and controlling delivery. Our managers maintain an integrated delivery plan that brings together scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks and key decisions.
Written baselines, regular working reviews, a decision log and change control keep the plan aligned with the work as it develops. Stakeholders receive clear, timely information on progress, cost, risk and decisions requiring their input.
Defining the delivery approach, estimating effort and setting schedules, milestones and dependencies.
Establishing requirements and priorities, agreeing the scope and assessing changes throughout the project.
Planning team capacity, tracking expenditure and updating forecasts as the work develops.
Coordinating the teams involved in delivery, managing progress and organising acceptance, release and handover.
Identifying potential problems, assigning responsibility and managing actions to address risks and resolve issues.
Communicating progress, costs and priorities, maintaining the decision log and coordinating approvals.
Priorities, responsibilities, dependencies and approval paths are agreed with everyone involved. They are kept visible in the tools the team uses, so everyone can see what needs attention and who owns it.
Completed work and remaining effort are tracked against the plan. Dependencies, costs and risks are reviewed regularly, providing a reliable basis for schedule and budget forecasts.
Risks and changes are raised as soon as they appear, with their likely impact and a recommendation. Decisions and actions are recorded with an owner and due date, then followed through.

Reporting
Yes. Project management can be provided on its own or alongside our other services. We establish responsibilities, dependencies, reporting and decision paths with everyone involved, then manage delivery through a shared plan.
Yes. We review the existing plan, commitments, progress and outstanding decisions, then establish a reliable view of what remains. The first priority is to make risks and next decisions clear without interrupting work unnecessarily.
We assess a proposed change against the agreed plan and explain its effect on effort, cost, dependencies and timing. The people responsible can then approve it, replace other work or defer it with the consequences understood.
The decision owner is agreed for each area of work. Our project manager coordinates the information, recommendations and approvals needed to make those decisions, and maintains the decision log so the outcome is clear to everyone involved.
You will have an up-to-date plan showing progress, remaining work, costs, risks and decisions requiring attention. The format and review frequency are agreed for the engagement and suited to the way the project is delivered.
